Yan (b. 1998, Singapore) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore, in 2019. Yan bases his artistic practices around relating and encouraging individuals while diving deep into the study of the human condition, questioning morality, and pushing the boundaries of the state of mind.Mainly using inks, he aims to "Comfort the disturbed, and Disturb the comfortable" with illustrations and imagery that haunt.
Exhibited with two galleries, INSTINC space, based in Singapore and One More Life Gallery, based in Vancouver.
Self-published 2 comic books, "RED: Prologue" and "Benson The Bat: The Best Day Ever".
Graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2019, Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
